Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and songwriter Diane Warren are a few of the artists that have positively influenced this young Brooklyn native's style of music. From the young age of eleven, Carla has been performing, singing, dancing, modeling and writing songs.

She's performed all over NYC, from the legendary Apollo, to being a finalist in Hal Jackson's talented teens. She also has graced numerous hair and teens magazines, which she continues to do inher spare time.

Carla's music focuses on her abilities to reflect a positive image in and around her community, thus transcending as a rolw model to kids and teens. She feels artists have a responsibility to their fans, since music is a powerful form of expressing one's thoughts and emotions. From her swet personality to her constant work ethic, Carla takes her craft very seriously, which is evident when listening to a few songs from her debut album project.

When not writing for herself, she enjoys writing songs for other artists. She has already caught the ear of many platinum producers to collaborate on songs for Janet Jackson, Lil Flip, Little Kim and TLC.
