Eve Nelson

September, 2004

Miami native Eve Nelson possesses a unique, unbridled passion for the music business which has taken her from composing some of the nations hottest commercials and television themes to major grammy nominated recording artists. Her flexibility and versatility has afforded the opportunity to produce and compose for such broad-ranging talent as Chaka Khan (with The London Symphony Orchestra), Ben Jelen (maverick), Angela Bofill (Jive), Willa Ford (Lava), Buster Poindexter, Donna Summer and the late great Eva Cassidy. Eve's Orchestral work includes themes and underscores for TNT, Warner Bros., The Boston Red Sox, The NBA and Major League Baseball.

Classically trained, Nelson was awarded the very first ASCAP Scholarship from Berklee College of Music. She graduated in just 2 years, at the tender age of 21. Shortly after, she navigated through the ever-evolving music scene. She landed a publishing deal with Zomba Music, started her own music production company, Nelson-O'Reilly Productions and became one of today's most coveted composers.

Eve approaches her career with sensitivity and confidence . This has enabled her to expand beyond the traditional role of musical artist, providing homes in both of her state of the art recording studios for superstars and up and coming talent alike. From the young pop star Billy Crawford, who recently went gold in France, to dance sensation Donna Giles and her #1 UK hit, to Universal's "Stuart Little" soundtrack, Eve's work defies categorization.

In an industry that rarely sees a female producer/composer who can capture the essence and emotion of pop, r&b, hip hop, dance and classical music, as well as the heart-wrenching ballad, Nelson is poised to do just that.

Eve lives in East Hampton NY.
